German Seed Alliance – A One-Stop Solution

The German Seed Alliance (GSA) is seated in Cologne. It has been founded in 2008 as a joint venture of several German plant breeding companies. GSA provides a comprehensive product range of innovative plant varieties to its agricultural customers.

The German Seed Alliance pools a variety of activities of its shareholders – research, breeding, seed production and sales. The emphasis is on the coordination of research, the development of joint breeding programmes for foreign markets and on the opening up of these new markets. Currently, GSA focuses on research activities as well as the breeding and distribution of premium varieties in Russia.

Quality seeds are a key commodity in agriculture: the key to cost savings and to yield stability. For this reason, GSA provides a comprehensive system of high quality products and services – from the crossing of plant varieties to the delivery of the seeds to the farmer.

A farmer using the competent service and the customized counselling provided by GSA is guaranteed to find plant varieties and seeds of GSA and/or its shareholders for successful cultivation in the complete crop rotation cycle.

The sales partners:

have pooled their quality seeds to a one-stop portfolio of premium seeds for almost the entire cropping sequence, distributed via the GSA subsidiary OOO German Seed Alliance Russ.
